Loncheria y Cenaduria Michoacán in San Jose, California

Asada Chavindecas

Yeah, that's my half-eaten snack above. Specifically, it was a chavindecas, featuring two tortillas with meat and cheese in between, complete with an array of condiments at your disposal. Admittedly, I'm not sure what the difference is between it and the quesadillas that were right above it on the menu; maybe it was thicker and thus came at a $1 premium? Well, this truck (3039 Monterey Road, 669-255-1673) seems to focus on food from Michoacán. So I went for this, and it came out piping hot and with a lovely aroma. I'll be happy to get that again...and hopefully I can try some of their special weekend items next time.
